Dark sedan at night with crystal-clear headlights cutting through mist

Restore the light.Protect the lens.

Mobile headlight restoration in Dodge City, KS. Yellowed headlights steal night vision and age the whole car. We cut the oxidation, bring the lens back to optical clear, and seal it against UV.

Night vision back

Oxidized plastic scatters the beam. Clear lenses put light on the road instead of the haze.

UV ceramic seal

The coat is the job. Without it, sun and weather yellow the lens again.

A fraction of replacement

New OEM assemblies run hundreds per side. Restoration is the same afternoon, not a parts wait.

Results

Drag to see the cut.

Same lamp, same angle. Yellowed, chalky plastic on the left — optical clear on the right. Pull the handle.

Why restore

Night vision is the job.

Yellowed plastic doesn’t just look old. It scatters the beam. You lose distance, pick up glare in rain, and the car photographs tired. Restoration puts the light back on the road.

  • See farther

A clear lens throws a tight beam. Haze turns that beam into a glow in front of the bumper.

  • Look newer

Cloudy lamps age the whole front end. Clear lamps are the fastest cosmetic fix on the car.

  • Skip the OEM wait

A new assembly is expensive and slow. Most intact lenses are a restoration, not a replacement.

Services

What we restore.

Text photos of the lamps. We’ll confirm the lens is a restoration — not a crack, leak, or broken tab — then set a time.

Headlight pair

Both sides, same cut, same UV ceramic coat. This is the core job.

Fogs and extras

Fog lamps, corners, and other oxidized plastic as an add-on to the pair.

Black plastic trim

Faded, chalky black plastic around the lamps and on the bumper. We restore the trim and protect it so it stays black.

Heavy oxidation

Chalk-white, pitted lenses get extra sanding before the polish and seal.

The process

Sand. Polish. Seal.

Restoration is a cut, not a wipe. We remove the damaged layer of plastic, then lock the new surface under a UV ceramic coat.

    Mask & inspect

We tape the paint, check for cracks, and confirm the lens is a restoration — not a replacement.

  2. 02

    Cut the oxidation

Wet sanding removes the yellowed, pitted layer of polycarbonate. Polish kits skip this and the haze returns.

  3. 03

    Polish to optical clear

Compound and finish until the lens is glass-like and the reflector reads sharp again.

  4. 04

    UV ceramic seal

A protective coat blocks the sun that caused the damage. This is what makes the job last.
