Restore & Protect ("we," "us") is a mobile headlight restoration service based in Dodge City, Kansas. We come to you in Dodge City and the surrounding area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact details: your name, phone number, and email if you give it.
Job location: the address or place where you want the work done.
Vehicle details: year, make, model, and the condition of your headlights.
Photos: pictures of your vehicle or headlights you send us, and before and after photos we take on the job.
Messages: texts, Facebook Messenger chats, website form submissions, and calls.
AI assistant chats: if you chat with the automated assistant on our Google Business Profile, Google and we may receive what you type.
Payment records: amount paid, date, and payment method. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To answer questions and give you a quote.
To schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, including weather changes.
To do the work and follow up afterward.
To look up and honor your warranty.
To keep basic business and tax records.
To improve our service.

Photos in marketing: we only use before and after photos in ads or social media with your permission. We hide or crop license plates and do not include your name, address, or other personal details.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the business:

Service providers such as Google (Business Profile, email, calendar), Meta (Facebook and Messenger), our phone and text carrier, website hosting, and Cash App for payments.
When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

These companies handle data under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep job, warranty, and tax records for 5 years from the job date. We keep customer messages and photos for 3 years, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

See the information we have about you.
Correct it.
Delete it, unless we need to keep it for warranty, tax, or legal reasons.
Stop using your photos in marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

If you text us or give us your number, we may text you about quotes, appointments, weather changes, and warranty follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.

Children

Our service is for vehicle owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable steps to protect your information, such as password protected accounts. No method is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
