Terms of Service (English)

These terms apply when you request a quote, book, or receive service from Restore & Protect ("we," "us"). By booking, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and estimates

Send us photos of your headlights and your vehicle year, make, and model by text, Facebook Messenger, or our website. Quotes based on photos are estimates. The final price is confirmed by Chris after seeing the headlights in person. If the work needed is different from what the photos showed, we will tell you before starting.

Appointments, cancellations, and weather

• We come to you anywhere within 20 miles of Dodge City at our standard rate. For jobs farther out, such as Garden City, we quote each job individually with travel included in the quote.
• Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Weather: our UV protective coating needs dry weather to cure. If rain, snow, high wind, or extreme cold is expected, we may reschedule at no charge to you. We will contact you as early as we can.
• No-shows and late cancellations: your $20 booking deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or are not there at the appointment, we keep the deposit.

Your responsibilities

• Provide a safe, legal place to work, such as a driveway or parking lot where we have permission to work.
• Make sure the vehicle is there and unlocked, or that we can reach the headlights, at the appointment time.
• Tell us about any known damage, aftermarket parts, or past repairs.
• Keep the vehicle parked and dry for at least 24 hours after we hand the vehicle back to you.

Results vary

Results depend on the condition of the lens. Most hazy or yellow headlights come out much clearer. Lenses that are severely cracked, pitted, chipped, or damaged or fogged on the inside (moisture, broken seals, burned reflectors) may not restore fully and may need replacement. We will tell you if we think that is the case.

3-year warranty

Our headlight restoration includes a 3-year warranty against the lens turning yellow, hazy, or peeling again under normal use. If that happens, contact us with your name, phone, and vehicle, and we will inspect and redo the affected headlight at no charge.

The warranty does not cover:

• Cracks, chips, impacts, or accidents.
• Damage or moisture inside the headlight.
• Harsh chemicals, pressure washing up close, or abrasive cleaning.
• Headlights replaced, modified, or worked on by someone else.
• Commercial and fleet vehicles, which are handled separately as a fleet job. Fleet jobs can take many hours (for example, four vehicles at about an hour and a half each), so the 24-hour cure time starts after the last vehicle is finished. If you need a specific vehicle back sooner, we can treat the work as one fleet job itemized per vehicle, with each vehicle's cure time starting when that vehicle is finished, so it can be released before the whole fleet is done.

The warranty covers the original owner only and does not transfer if the vehicle is sold.

Payment

A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to book and is applied toward your job total (basic jobs start at $75). The balance is due when the work is finished. We accept cash and Cash App. We do not accept checks.

Photos

We take before and after photos to document the job and for warranty records. We will only use them in marketing with your permission, and we hide license plates and personal details.

AI assistant and online answers

Our Google Business Profile may include an automated AI assistant. Its answers are for general information only. Prices, availability, and scheduling are not final until Chris confirms them with you directly.

Limitation of liability

We take care with every vehicle. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Kansas law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any dispute will be handled in Ford County, Kansas.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted on this page with its effective date applies.
